Finally, the last entry for my series of Fixing Wordpress. I’m really tired just looking at the words that I’ve typed down but I really want to share my experiences with this stubborn new blog of mine. It seems that I’m a bit old already. I cannot learn new things fast enough. I think that is why we have support forum for wordpress and other different forums out there.  I found a new blog that talk about forum (for now). You can take a peep if you want to see what is this girl write about.

On to the problem I faced. I only realize this problem when I chat with PapaJoneh by Google Chat (what’s the official name of this service? Anyone?). He notify me that he cannot get into my blog because it redirect to my login page. I was shocked. So, I tried it but I can see my blog when I type the URL and press enter. I told PapaJ but he is still redirected to the login page. Then, I realize that I was already log in when I type the URL. I log off and type my URL and press enter. Guess what page came out? My login page. The URL that being displayed on the address bar is http://nimrodjo.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2F.

I was shocked but I realize I need to get the help quickly. So, I posted to the forum and wordpress support. I search through out the day and finally found an alternative solution to this problem. I don’t really know if this is the correct way to handle this problem but I can access my blog by typing the URL: nimrodjo.com. What did I do? I just add a line of code in my them, functions.php file. This is the code:

<?php remove_action('template_redirect', 'redirect_canonical'); ?>

You can put it above the file coding or below it. After that, I can access my blog and I hope my blog visitors or readers can too. Now, I faced another small problem. My theme keep reseting it self to the default theme. I have to go the the presentation each time to change it. So, what do you say guys? Can this be fix? Or do I have to search for this solution in the support forum again?  :-(
