This will be my second entry for my review on places I visited during my holiday. If you remember (or read) my first review, I mention that on my way to Sandakan Sepilok Jungle Resort, me and my wife make a stop at Kundasang for one night. The next day, we visited Kundasang War Memorial. This post will have less word because there are photos that can describe the place more accurately.

The entrance to the War Memorial. There are fee to enter.

MyKad holder means Malaysian. If you want cheap fee, then wear a school uniform! I took some photos inside the War Memorial and one of them is this piece of plate as an introduction to the purpose of the War Memorial (I hope it is readable).

The first stop is an Australian Garden and from this place to the other place, you will be seeing a woman in the photo as my model (guess who? This is an easy question).
Inside the garden, the is a monumen for the Australian P.O.W.
After the garden, the is a stair leading up to another garden.

After the stairs are the English garden (and look who’s back). I like the pathway. It has the combination of grass and cement.
At the end of the pathway, lie the monumen for the British soldier.
Then, we proceed to the next garden which is familiar to Borneon (Sabahan + Sarawakian..is it?….take a look). There are 2 UFO(Unidentifed Folks Onsite) in this photo.
There is a photo of my model inside one part of the Borneo garden. She is asked me after the shot, “Ok ka gaya sa?” (Is my pose is alright?). I answered, “Ok ba kalo ko.” (Yep, you rock babe.”)
Next stop, the roman empire. I mean the place is design similar to roman architecture. I’m not a Historian or Architect but I’ve seen one.
Can you see at the end of the pillars, there is a black stone? Actually it is not a stone, it is a stone with poem inscribe on it.
You can see a figure behind the stone. Who’s that? (Another tricky question). If you can answer that, wait until you read the statement in the photos. This is the BONUS for you that read this entry until the end.
For those of you that can’t understand Bahasa Malaysia, it says “Stole Flower. Fine RM 100 (Australian and English Garden) or RM 800 (Borneo Garden). Caution!! THERE IS T.V.” When I read it, I was like “What the …????”. Come on, this is a War Memorial and you cannot between differentiate T.V and CCTV?
I hope you enjoy reading my post as I enjoy creating it. See you guys later in the comment box.
