I’m writing this post as a part of “Save The Ocean” group writing project initiated by Pelf. This post will be short and simple. I hope it will boost up your ocean-friendly side after you read this.First of all, why will you get married on a beach? For starter, it would be a unique ceremony. Secondly, which women will not dream of such wedding? Getting married on a wild beach. How do you define a wild beach?
Is this a wild beach to you?

or this one?
or maybe, this one?
Which ever kind of beach you choose, it definitely connected to the vast sea, the OCEAN. Tell me? Will the beach appear beautiful and clean if some body decided to litter in the beach or directly into the sea? Will you get married on beaches like these?

I think the above illustration of a polluted beach will give you the idea. So, who do you think are responsible for taking care of our beach and ocean? Our government? Our local municipal? Our neighbour?
It always sadden my heart when I visited a beach that have rubbishes all around. I say to my self, “If this kind of thing going on and on and on, the next generation of youth will never see a clean beach”. I think if nothing is done by us (yes, you and me), to at least help pick up the rubbish, in 10 years or so, no one can see a clean beach anymore or even see the beach it self (due to global warming..do I need to explain more?).
The least we can do is educate our young generation to appreciate our beaches and ocean. So maybe, after listening to our advise about beach and ocean conservation, they will have a dream of getting married on a wild and vibrant beach, with a beautiful island as a background fo the ceremony.

Definitely won’t get married in a dirty beach…… people nowadays don’t appreciate nature…when everything goes to hell, then only they will realize, but by that time already too late!

I have heard about a beach wedding sometime in September last year, in Redang. And sometime in 2006, there was an underwater wedding! Also in Redang.
Perhaps "beach wedding" is becoming the "in thing" these days?
