I’m sorry that I haven’t updated my blog for a while. I feel tired this past week after doing school co-curicullar activity. Today, i’m going to write about the reason for blogging.

Nowadays, personal blog are the most built blog in the blogosphere. Blog is becoming so popular and it is becoming a trend to have a blog. Why do need a blog? Check out these reasons:

1. EMOTION

It is been said that it is good to let out our bad feeling then to keep it inside us. In our daily life, we faced many things that stressed us out. Sometimes, it hard to find someone that understand our problem and some one to listen to our problem. So, a blog is a way to express whatever that we feel that moment; angry, dissapointed, hate, lonely and so on. It can make the stress that we feel, lessen or even go away. You can even share your happy moments or feelings. So, blog can be a emotional teraphy.

2. ECONOMY

Do blog really can make us money? Yes, of course, given the right method. You can read about JohnChow, ShoeMoney and even our own Gaman and LiewCF on how they make money online. It is not easy but you can equip your self with enough knowledge and use it to make money online. Actually, bloggers make money mainly through paid post and advertising.

3. DIARY

Blog can be your daily diary. It is an online diary but most diary are personal (secret). So, make sure you only post a diary that you would like everyone to read. If you use wordpress as blogging platform, you can make some entry private (with a password) so that not every one can read it.

4. BENCHMARK

No, this is not refering to a software or computer or game benchmark. This is about your blog being a benchmark for who you are in the past and who you are now. We can know from our blog if we have improve in certain area or not. For example, your writing skills. Blog can be used to reflect through the things that you have gone through in the years (or months) that have passed.

5. PORTFOLIO

A lot of blogger feature their wok in their blog. For example, a graphic designer will feature his or her best work in their blog. Maybe one day, the blogger decided to join a big company that specialize in design, the blogger can send an email and the link to his or her blog. If the company like what they see, they may hire the blogger.

6. ACQUAINTANCES

Blogging is the most effective way to make new friends or even get in touch with your old buddies. Bloggers are all over the world. So, we can make new friends from all over the world from the comfort of your home.

7. COMMUNICATION

By blogging everday, you can boost your confidence or even improve your communication skill. When we make a post of an issue, eventually there will be comments to the blog (with a decent traffic) whether it is postive or negative comment. So, we as the writer of the issue will reply to the comments respectively and address the comments carefully. Sometimes,we found our self in a debate with a blogger on certain issue. This willl test our communication or interaction skill. Maybe we are not so good in the beginning, but eventually we will master the skill of communication.

8. INTEREST

Our interest or talent can be channelled in our blog. We can always share our interest with others. For example, if your interest is in playing guitar, you can share with others the music that you play with your guitar or if you like to write (poem, short story, wisdom statement, etc.), you can upload you writing to your blog. I have came upon a blog that feature entirely poems. So, blog is a platform that we can use to share our interest.

9. SELLING YOUR SELF!

Oh no! This has nothing to do with ‘displaying’ your self on the Internet. This simply mean, showing your self to the world of your capabilities, your knowledge, your talent, and your expertise. This point is connected woth point #2, #5 and #8. There are many blog out there that make money online just by providing their service to other which by the way, their interest in life. So, potray your self in our own way in your blog.

10. KNOWLEDGE

Last but not the least (of course!), this is the main reason why we should blog. Sharing your knowledge because every single human being in the world has a different and unique life. What you know is not the same with what others know. If everbody is letting out some important information about their jobs (doctor, lawyer, teacher, problogger, etc.), others can gain knowledge on that area.

So, that’s my 10 reason for blogging and I hope you have found one reason to start blogging. You will not lose anything (but time) if you build a blog. Do it TODAY!
