towIn this ninth edition of taglines of the week, I choose a category that is closed to my heart; Science. I teached Science in form 3 (15 years old students) and Biology in form 4 and 5 (16 and 17 years old students). Let us see if these bloggers who put their blog under this category is creative enough with their taglines.

As a teacher, I found that Science stream students are more creative than the Art stream students where supposedly Science stream students use the logical side of the brain, then the creative and artistic side of the brain. Let’s us read on if these ‘Science’ bloggers are as good as my students.

i don’t think science students are more creative than arts ones.  I think the main reason of the difference you see is because students in malaysia, especially the arts one, are not being encouraged to think and express their opinions.  A lot of schools, especially the ones in Malaysia, tend to neglect the art stream, hence emphasize more to the science stream.  I hope both stream should be given equal attention.  By the way, thanks for mentioning my blog :).

Hi WTJ, this is one of the nicest and proper comment that I have so far…I do agree with you in a way but from my experience as a Visual and Art (PSV) teacher for 2 years, I found out that art stream students are less innovative even though they are studying art :?: …last year, the best student for the PSV subject came from science stream…I think the main factor that differentiate students from art and science stream are their own attitudes…Nevertheless, there are some art students that are very creative and good in art…It is a pleasure mentioning your blog…have a nice day…
