No More Google Adsense?

I was actually shock at first when I glimpse on the title of Google email to me. I panicked a little bit because I need to strip the google adsense ads. After reading the email carefully, it was about Adsense Referrals. I’m sure that every website owner that sign-up under Google Adsense had received this email. I just want to make things clear for me (and maybe somebody out there). All the code that is associated with Adsense referrals need to be taken down by the end of August. So, in September that ads won’t produced any income even you click it a hundred times.
Instead, Google came up with another briliant idea. It is called Google Affiliate Network. You may sign-up as a Publisher or an Advertiser. Here is an excerpt of this program:
* Google Affiliate Network: As part of the integration of
DoubleClick, the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network will now
operate as the Google Affiliate Network for advertisers targeting
users located in the United States. Similar to the AdSense
Referrals program, the Google Affiliate Network enables publishers
to apply for advertiser programs and get paid based on
advertiser-defined actions instead of clicks or impressions. For
further details, please visit:
www.google.com/ads/affiliatenetwork.
So, you may register if you want to join this network. You can fill the form given, submit your registration and wait for their appoval. No more Google Adsense? Gotcha!

I would think for most of us it wouldn’t matter. Most od us aren’t rolling in $$$ from Adsense to begin with. :0)
